Who I Am

First off, I’m from South Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I attended Roy Clark (Union) Elementary School before transferring to Victory Christian School (you want to talk about brainwashing?). My family and I then moved to the west side of Houston, Texas, where I attended Metcalf Elementary. We eventually moved back to Oklahoma, this time to Sapulpa. After living there for a few years, we relocated to McKinney, Texas, and finally to Harker Heights, Texas, near Fort Hood, the largest military base in the country, where I graduated high school.

I won’t go into why we moved so much, but I will say this: of every place I’ve lived, Tulsa and Houston shaped me the most.

I’ll never claim Houston, even though I love it like a second home. Growing up in Oklahoma and hearing Houston music, I hated it, lmao. My brothers loved it and thought it was the greatest thing ever. I was more into West Coast Gangsta Rap, Soul Music, Funk, and a little bit of Rock.

What I did fall in love with was Houston's aura, and I still am. It’s slow paced, yet exciting. Laid back, yet constantly moving. Hell, I even love the traffic (best traffic in the world if you ask me). I really got to experience Houston while earning my degree from the University of Houston, and that was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I learned so much there. I’ll forever love Houston, Texas.

Tulsa, Oklahoma, or really, South Tulsa, is where I was shaped.

I grew up in my grandmother's house in South Tulsa. Our neighborhood was randomly "mixed." There were Mexican families, a Polynesian family, some white neighbors, and a few Black families. My brothers and I rode our bikes through the neighborhood, played tackle football in the street, played Jackpot, and drank water straight from the water hose in front of my grandmother's house. We were never bored.

We went to church every Sunday, and I hated that shit. Seeing these strangers scream, shout, and speak in tongues used to irk me as a kid. (I was a pastor's kid... and I was bad.)

But one thing I did learn was the importance of community, the right community.

I love Tulsa because it taught me how to dream. It taught me how to use my imagination. It’s where I first started graphic designing. It’s where I learned how to make something out of almost nothing. Growing up in South Tulsa gave me many of the skill sets I still utilize today.

You combine South Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the west side of Houston, Texas, and you get me.

Everything I create has intention. It means something to me, and I hope, in some way, it comes to mean something to you too.

NLA – NO LEAGUE ASSOCIATION

No League Association (NLA) is a collection dedicated to honoring defunct sports teams across the United States. The clothing line exists to celebrate forgotten franchises and the communities that once rallied behind them, giving locals a renewed sense of pride while representing their city’s legacy with style.

Across small towns, mid-sized cities, and even major metropolitan areas, rich sports histories are often overlooked or entirely forgotten. NLA was created to change that. Each release highlights significant historical teams from every state, preserving their stories and reintroducing them through thoughtfully graphic designs.

NLA is more than clothing, it’s a tribute to hometown heritage, a revival of community identity, and a way to wear history with confidence.

NHICE

The NHICE collection is dedicated to delivering more creative, raw pieces. The goal is to offer reasonably priced, fully custom designs available to approved customers only. (There are some items that will be recreated and fully customized.)

Think of it as stylish clothing, not “luxury.” The focus is on higher quality without the inflated pricing, exploiting, or overly capitalistic aspects of the industry.
